The cemetery, Bosque Bello dates back to c.1798. For many years, during Spanish rule of Florida, the cemetery was utilized by those who lived in Old Town Fernandina. Today, the cemetery is the final resting place for many generations of island residents.   The story of our rich history and cultural diversity will be shared as we walk through this old, but not forgotten part of Amelia Island.
